We take up to 4 weeks holiday a year and will give you a months’ notice of these days but generally 2 weeks during the summer and 2 weeks at Christmas.
Part‐time and full‐time care is available; if part-time then a minimum of 2 hours a day must be booked. Please let us know in advance if you intend to arrive at a different time to your contract on as if you arrive unexpectedly we may not be able to look after your child due to going on a school run, also if you are going to be late dropping off as we may have plans for going out.
We understand if traffic is bad and the weather sometimes prevents you from getting here on time as this will be overlooked as long as we are informed. We will normally be able to accommodate the additional care however if we can’t then we will contact other adults from the authorised list to arrange for them to collect your child unless you have already done so.
If a child is not collected on time and no contact has been made by the parents we will contact the emergency names that we have been given after 30 minutes have passed. If we are still unable to make contact with you or an emergency carer then we will contact social services and Ofsted and a full written report will be recorded. A charge for extra time will be expected.
