Special Educational Needs Policy
We recognize the wide range of special educational needs of children in our community. Our system of observation and record keeping which operates in conjunction with parents enables us to monitor the children’s progress and their individual needs. If we feel we cannot meet the specific needs of a child without additional support, from EYFS. We shall liaise with professionals such as speech therapist, health visitor, social worker, psychologist, paediatricians and other agencies in order to meet the needs of the child. And we will undergo any training, workshops that are required to ensure that the children’s individual needs are met at all times.
Equal Opportunities/Inclusion
We welcome all children and families in our community regardless of their ethnic origins, cultures, religions, race, linguistic, backgrounds, or abilities.
We provide daily activities and play equipment that offers the children opportunities to develop in an environment free from prejudice and discrimination. All children are respected and their individuality and potential recognized, valued and nurtured. Appropriate opportunities are given in order to help the children to explore, acknowledge and value similarities and differences between themselves and others.
