Who We Are

MantleKidz, is an OFSTED registered childminding (childcare) service provider located at Abbeywood, providing high-quality care for your child in a home-away-from-home environment. We are DBS checked, our motivation is seeing children thriving and growing in a safe and clean environment. The age range of our children is 6 months (0.5 years) to 12 years. Part of our service also includes school pick-up and drop-off to and from St John Fisher Catholic School, Erith.

We provide child minding, attend the local Library, toddler ground and arrange regular trips to the local park in the neighbourhood. Also, we provide a wide range of toys and engage in varieties of activities where children Play, Learn and Grow.

We pay strong attention to keeping up to date with new standards, ideas, and training. Our approach to childminding is modern and relaxed, where children are encouraged to be physically and mentally active and parents can be reassured that the well-being of their child is our top priority. We strongly believe that children learn the most when engaged in a play based activity and as such we ensure that all the children in our care participate in a full range of activities including free play, imaginative play, cooking, outdoor activities, stories, creative art, crafts, music, dance and much more.

The children in our care are able to understand their role in the wider community by regularly visiting toddler groups, local parks, shops, libraries and other aspects of local life. Within the framework, we have to provide your child with a designated key person, the role of the key person is to ensure that your child’s individual needs are met. If you have any concerns about your child’s development or well‐being please do not hesitate to talk to the proprietress.

We provide daily diary for your child where we document our daily events, including times of nappy changes, what food and how much food your child ate, activities throughout the day and it also gives you a chance to comments or add response and questions you may have and possibly forget at drop off and collection times. We have fruit time were the children get to try different fruits and drinks are available throughout the day (Milk and Water) Juice on some special occasions e.g. Birthdays, etc.
