Please do not bring your child to our setting if they are showing signs of illness. Sick children expose other children, as well as our family and co‐workers, to the spread of their illness and require additional care and attention that we are unable to give them. More importantly, when a child is sick they require the comforts of their own home and the love and attention of a parent/carer

If your child becomes ill while in our care we shall contact you to come and collect them as soon as possible. All children in our setting who are off due to an illness or disease, for example, sickness or tummy upset will not be allowed to return until they have been free of the illness for 48 hours. This is to minimise the risk of transmission of an infection to other children and other family/staff members. We shall inform you if another child has a confirmed infectious disease so you can look out for the signs.
